There was a bit of buzz on the internet about playing one game to get bonuses in another if you played the demo, it seemed, to me, like a ruse just to get people to play the demo of a game nobody had really heard about and to give it a bit of hype. It turns out that, although Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning isn’t exactly ground-breakingly brilliant, it does have a certain charm.
The main reason for playing the demo of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was not for the in-game bonuses for the full version of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, but for the supposed extras for Mass Effect 3. You get a special version of some armour when you start the demo and apparently, you get something after completing it (am yet to verify that by searching for confirmation..).
I thought I’d go for a female character, which is something I tend to do now and then with games because, to be honest, it doesn’t really matter what sex you choose, they’re only as good as you build them up to be which makes them equally as good. After getting so far, I reached a spot which appeared to be glitch village and seemed to only be affected by creatures called Boggarts, when killed, their parts would disappear at certain angles or cause graphical glitches.
The weird bit on the right of that screenshot shouldn’t be there and can only be seen from certain angles which is something that needs to be fixed before going out on general sale, especially when the game freezes up at a point in the game where you last saved ages ago and so would have to re-play about 20 minutes or something.
