Plenty More Phish on the Internet

Phishing emails are so obvious these days, you would have to be a bit of an idiot not to recognize them, but the fact is, there are still some uneducated and naive people that may fall for some of the scams. You don’t need to be a tech geek or nerd to spot the obvious.

Strange Stuff in the Mail #0002

I’m sure I used to have a series based on strange stuff I was sent by PR people on my blog, after a quick check, it appears I don’t and so will just class this as a strange thing in the mail… Well, it’s not THAT strange, just not what I expect to get.

R.I.P. LucasArts

It’s a sad day for videogames, Disney has decided to close LucasArts, so anything and everything that was in development will unlikely see the light of day, which apparently was a couple of Star Wars games including the anticipated Star Wars 1313, although, there is a distinct possibility it might get finished.

GA: Croon-along-a-Sim

Since my Sim is a partner is most of the businesses in Sunset Valley and therefore entitled to around 12,000 Simoleons each week, I decided it wasn’t worth working, but then I wanted to start performing in parks and do gigs, so I had to join a career.

GA: Sim Colours

One day, I will sort out my Sims 3/Origin problems, the latest one seems to be the colour of some Sims. I’m not against ‘non-white’ Sims, that would just stupid and racist, but these Sims are… not quite right.

GA: Walk Like an Egyption

I’m not sure, but I think I used that headline before *checks… no ¬_¬ * Anyway, decided to take a break and go to Egypt for a bit of an adventure as this aceman Sim isn’t that well travelled, so, got on the computer and booked up for the 3-day break.

GA: Sim Dating, Please Stop

“Attraction System has been added. This is a new initial romantic system that provides bonuses to socialization and romance when the Sim is attracted by certain attributes.”

That has to be the most annoying update yet. You only have to be in the vicinity of another Sim and they would, “like to get to know you better”, then once you’ve befriended people, they will keep asking you out for dates.

GA: Sims Are Getting Weird

My game time with The Sims 3 has been quite epic over the last 4 days or so, it’s been nice to get reacquainted and spend hours doing nothing in particular. I’d been dating someone quite a while, but I think I’ll have to break it off with her since she has a partner.

GA: Sim Crazy

More Sims 3 and due to being so much you can and want to do, five and a half hours have passed when you finally decide to save and quit, but while trying to get things done, I still manage to do various other things which take me off track from the main goal.

GA: Inventing Sims

I’ve recently started playing The Sims 3 again (as indicated by my Horrors of Origin post) to try and do stuff that a previous Sim couldn’t do due to a bug, something about inventing, but I’ve been a bit busy doing other stuff and am just getting around to getting inventing equipment.
