One Month of Project 365

It’s been four weeks since I started the Project 365 task and although I’ve had to backdate some posts, there are 28 posts for the year so far.

Although I may not have played the game I blog about on that day, it has been played within a few days and the screenshots/images/photos are new and from the gaming session being blogged about. It’s going quite well, even though there are a lot of Skyrim posts, that’s mostly because it’s the main game I’m playing, but I do play other games to blog about that breaks up the Skyrim posts.

Anyway, I hope your Project 365 blog is going well and if you’d like to see mine, just visit mentalaceman.wordpress.com.

Project 365: One Week Later

Although this is my main blog, it’s not being used for WordPress.com’s Project 365.

My idea for that was to play at least one videogame each day and blog about it, I may play a few games some days, but will just blog about one. It has reached day 7 and is there for anyone to read if you would care to do so, each post should only take a couple of minutes!

Anyway, if you want to read about my Project 365, go to mentalaceman.wordpress.com.

Thank you!

Project 365, But Not Here…

I started the Post-A-Day WordPress challenge at the start of this year and due to other commitments, I stopped in April. This time will be different (yeah, you hear that all the time :p ) because it’s part of my plan to get more gaming done and a bid to get my Xbox 360 Gamerscore up to at least 50,000 by the end of the year (2012).

Play DS Games On Your 3DS? Maybe Not

Nintendo 3DS

Image via Wikipedia

Destructoid has posted a rather good article on how it’s probably better to keep your old DS to play DS games, rather than use the 3DS which, you would think is just as good, if not better to play them on, apparently not.

It seems the picture will be stretched to such an extent that the screen will become blurry and colours not as crisp as they would be on a DSi/DSi XL. It’s to do with the 3DS being a higher resolution than the old DS and due to the lower resoltion that DS games run at, you’re left with quite a bit of spare room around the game area.

So, if you’re thinking of upgrading to the 3DS when its released, might be a good idea not to trade in your DSi/XL.

Posting By Mobile

I suppose I’d better test this out since it will be the only way to post when I go on holiday a little later this year.

That’s the good thing about having an Android phone and especially the Samsung Galaxy S and its 4″ screen which allows me to lay it down and actually type this out like I would on a ‘proper’ keyboard. It means I can use the WordPress app to post and either my network connection or possible free Wi-Fi to upload it.

I think I may actually be able to use the phone as an access point for such as my DSi if I needed to, not that I would bother, but still…
